Ugly friends, what to do?
I?m having a couple of out-of-town friends over later in the winter and they want to go out.
I love them and all, but they aren?t Gods most beautiful creations.
Well, to put it plainly, they are ugly.
Sure, I could do a ?make over? on them, but I?d rather not tell me friends that they are ugly.
Problem is, they want to go out. And what should I do, when I know they wont get in anywhere?
Sure, I can get bottle service or what ever, but I dont want the door men to associate me with ugly people
?Oh, there?s that guy that try to take in ugly people?.

Ok,here?s my dilema …
I has always been a bit of a dream of mine to hit the Miami clubs. I?m from Australia and finally I will arrive on 1 November … as part of a business trip and as an overnight stop over. I get in on the Sunday night at 9pm with no entourage (that is, by myself) and have a flight out at 8:30 the next morning.
I was feeling all psyched (or stupid) and decided not to book accomodation and spend the night out, meet some people and then back to the airport all weary eyed. But now the time is near and after reading some posts, I am getting cold feet. What if I can?t get in. What if people aren?t friendly, I really don?t want to be the person quietly sipping expensive drinks by myself at the dark end of the bar. I don?t want to ruin my first Miami experience. Always pictured it with a few friends just hitting the town – seems so much harder by yourself!
So … Do I book a hotel and prepare for my long flight home and make my first experience the next time I arrive (which may be early next year if our business deal is successful)and with some mates. OR do I brave the long hot night in Miami by myself trying to woo the bouncers into letting me in?
